​What is Lifestyle Medicine?
Lifestyle Medicine is the use of lifestyle practices to prevent or reverse disease. 

The 6 pillars of lifestyle medicine, as defined by the American College Of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM)*, are:
  1. Healthful eating
  2. Physical activity
  3. Stress management
  4. Avoiding risky substances
  5. Restorative sleep, and
  6. Positive social connection 
 
Who are the experts?

The experts are doctors who have experienced the power of lifestyle practices themselves.  They're now passionate about sharing these tools with their patients, clients, and communities.  Some have created medical practices around the principles of lifestyle medicine.  Others offer wellness and mind-body coaching, such as myself.  Others provide education through podcasts, blogs, and cooking demos.  We've all found our own unique ways to share our passion for wellness through lifestyle.   Although our paths, journeys, and offerings are all different, one thing is the same.  Our mission to help you create a healthy and happy life for you and your family!
