Stop Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places

I’ve shared this story before, but it’s worth repeating...over and over again actually.  

It’s the story of the musk deer…

The musk deer is a type of deer that lives in the Himalayas and has a musk fragrance emanating from its forehead.  This deer went searching all over the Himalayas for the source of this fragrance, not realizing it was within him the whole time.

We’re a lot like that musk deer.  We search and search all over for...happiness, love, peace, fulfillment...not realizing that these things are within us all the time.  And yet, we keep searching outside of ourselves for it.
