Have you ever had a song stuck in your head and you don’t even know why or where it came from?!?!
This happened to me recently...Forever Young. You know that 80’s song… Forever Young… I want to be forever young… *Here's the music video if you want some ridiculousness in your life today :-) It's very 80's! Over and over and over again… I had no idea why this song popped in my head, and for the life of me I couldn’t get it to stop playing on repeat. And then, I looked over on my dresser and read the words on the bath balm that was gifted to me recently and saw the words “Forever Young” written in pink across the top of the box and I just started laughing! This is how powerful words are! The words you use, and even the words that you see in your environment. Your subconscious is always picking up information around you, drawing connections, and trying to make sense of it all whether you’re aware of it or not. So, why not be intentional about the words you feed your mind? One of my favorite practices for this is AFFIRMATIONS. When you affirm something, you’re powerfully telling your subconscious mind that this is important and true. The thing is how often are you unknowingly affirming negative self-beliefs? Things like “I’m not good enough...I could never have what she has...I don’t have what it takes…” You have the power to shift those negative self-beliefs into positive ones, and when you do, you’ll discover confidence and self-worth like you never thought was possible. I’m leading a free training tomorrow where I’ll talk about this in greater depth and share other tips for building greater confidence and self-worth so that you can feel fulfilled in your career and relationships. The training is at 2pm EST tomorrow, September 29th. Will I see you there?
