I led a Workshop last week called “When Things Fall Apart: Regain Your Strength and Clarity to Move Forward Through Tough Times.” In it, I walked participants through a 3-step process to shift their mindset around their current life transition so that they can move forward with greater strength and clarity.
The 3-steps follow my Radiant Living Method coined C.A.R. where:
C = Clarity (clearing the chaos)
A = Acceptance (making sense of the now)
R = Rebuilding (creating your plan of action)
This path of self-discovery begins with awareness and self-inquiry. So, today I’m sharing with you 3 questions I invited participants to consider. Take a couple moments to reflect on and jot down your answers to these questions:
What life transition are you experiencing right now?
Examples include breakup/divorce, changing jobs, starting a new business, empty nest, retirement, a new diagnosis, getting married, having a child
When you give a name to your experience, you create space around it. You are going through the experience, but you’re not the experience itself.
Think of a time in your life that you were faced with a major change. What do you have in your life now that wouldn’t be there had you not gone through that life transition?
Ever hear someone say “that was a blessing in disguise.” Well, reflect on your own past to find an example. In this way, you’re beginning to shift your mindset and transform your perspective on your current situation.
What are the potential possibilities of "new" being created through this life transition?
In other words, in what ways is your current situation guiding you towards transformation? What is this situation inviting you to step into?
Comment below to let me know your insights from these questions. I read and reply to every message.
